HyperActiveStyle is a commercial online art forum that enables "HyperActivists" (art lovers) to connect with each other so they can use art as a tool to empower previously disempowered parts of the community.

When artist Jay D. Krasnow founded HyperActiveStyle in July 2006 he originally envisioned www.hyperactivestyle.com as the e-commerce storefront for the commercialization of his art.

However, after re-launching HyperActiveStyle in April 2007 during Artomatic, a month-long Washington-area arts forum, he saw that HyperActiveStyle could be a vehicle for improving the community using what he knows best - art.

Since HyperActiveStyle opened the doors to its "Dancing Cats" exhibit at Artomatic the company has sought to heighten awareness that art can empower the community, and has worked to swap strategies with HyperActivists to create a plan to do this.

HyperActiveStyle invites Website visitors to contribute to real solutions for real people in the community. The first step is to visit HyperActiveStyle's blog at http://hyperactivestyle.blogspot.com and to join our forum's discussion.
